10 Link Building Opportunities for 10 Days

by Jon Cooper

A month ago I started putting together a short list of very high quality sites to get links from, ones that only a few of you (if any) have come across. I spent hours looking at OSE reports of various link profiles, and I slowly put together this list.

My first thought was to create an ebook and sell it for $10. I can almost guarantee it would’ve sold itself (one of the opportunities alone is worth well over that amount), but I thought better of it. I decided to give them away for free!

The way I’m giving them out is by email. Next monday you’ll get the first opportunity, tuesday you’ll get the second, etc. Why? Because if I give you one a day, you’ll actually go out and get that link. If I told you all ten at once, I’m positive at least a few of you will make the excuse of, “Jon, I don’t have time to go out and get all these links.” Instead of taking 30-60 minutes to get all of them at once, taking just 5 minutes once a day for 10 days would work much better.

If it couldn’t get any better, the newsletter you’re subscribing to is something I invest a ton of time in. So far I’ve sent out two emails to my subscribers and the feedback I’ve gotten is through the roof. Why? I give out some of my best stuff, there’s no sales pitches, and I don’t give away your email. I also don’t bombard you with a ton of emails; we get enough emails as it is.

If you want to sign up, use the below form. If you have any questions, let me know; I’d be happy to answer them!

If you want to say thanks for these free giveaways, hit one of those social buttons in the left sidebar. I don’t ask for much, but sharing is one of the few things I do care about :).

Hi Jon, is this a different list than the newsletter? Or am I good if Im subscribed to the newsletter already?

  2. Awesome idea Jon. Looking forward to the emails.

  3. Woody says:

Hey Jon, were connected in a google+ circle. Does that count?

    • Jon Cooper says:

Nope :(. You have to sign up to get it by email. Don’t worry, you can unsubscribe any time possible, and I’ve taken strides to making it the least spammy, most value-adding newsletter in the industry. I don’t use any fancy email templates, I just send plain text, because in the end you’re just looking to received great tips & strategies.

Oh, and no sales pitches either!

  4. Adam says:

I seem to have received your 3rd tip first. Not sure what happened to tip 1 and 2?

    • Jon Cooper says:

The first tip went out Monday morning, and the second on Tuesday morning, so if you just signed up, that’s why you’re just getting the 3rd 🙂

  5. Alex says:

“Oh, and no sales pitches either!”

You should at least have a link to your blog in your e-mail. 😉

    • Jon Cooper says:

I was thinking about it, but unless I’m pointing you in the direction of something worth reading on my blog, then I don’t feel there’s a reason to. I’m only here to add value. If people really want to check out the homepage of my blog, they’ll do it on their own :).

Thanks for the suggestion & comment Alex!

  6. Can I get those tips?

  7. Halfdan Timm says:

So, if I wanted to get this list today, how am I going to do that? 🙂

I am subscribed, but I’m not exactly guessing they’ll be sent out again?
